SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES (AND HOT TOYS) ON DISPLAY AT SDCC 2014

The Sideshow Collectibles booth was one popular place to be during San Diego Comic-Con this year (well honestly it is a popular place to be every SDCC) and there were many great and impressive things on display. SDCC is one of few places where you can really see some of these impressive tributes to our favorite corners of pop culture in person. You know here at Preorder66 we are no strangers to the high end world of Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys, but these items are just out of reach for many and this is the first time some fans get the chance to see the stuff with their own eyes.

FIFTY SHADES OF 66 - EP50 IS LIVE!

PREORDER66 - EP50 "SHADES"
i.e. Personal Use Toys
Recorded 08.08.2013

With a little Energon (and a lot of luck) the 66 crew manages to survive Canada and gathers to record their golden episode. The pent-up figure news from SDCC, AniCom, etc. EXPLODES as their inner goddesses do the merengue. Did Blanche write this? TOYS.

HULK SMASH

Well Hot Toys Hulk just came out in HK, so you know what that means? LOTS of in hand reviewer pictures! So lets take a look at pics of the green monster from OMG.

HOT TOYS AGENT PHIL COULSON REVIEW

I would say I have been a fan of Agent Coulson since sitting in the theater for the first Iron Man flick introducing the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the organization called S.H.I.E.L.D. Little did I know at the time what kind of role Agent Coulson would play going forward, and that I would eventually have my own 1/6 scale figure of him that I would be doing a review on. I did come to realize after each time we saw him appear on screen in subsequent movies that he is the glue that holds the Marvel Cinematic Universe together, which is a concept that becomes even more evident in the Mavel's The Avengers film.

I recall hearing that Joss Whedon would be helming the Avenger's film project and thinking "Man it is really going to suck when he kills off Coulson in the movie" because I know what a bastard Joss Whedon can be when it comes to characters like our dear Agent Phil. (Oh yeah, spoilers for those who haven't yet seen The Avengers) Coulson may be gone (he's not, look at the trailer for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show coming soon) but he is certainly not forgotten as Hot Toys has chosen to immortalize the character in 1/6 glory with their MMS 189 release: The Avengers: Agent Phil Coulson figure.

HOT TOYS SNAKE EYES IN HAND!

Hot Toys Snake Eyes was just released over in Hong Kong, so we should be seeing him over here in North America in about a month or so. Until then we have plenty of great in hand pictures of the production model from early reviewers. The shots I will be sharing with you are all from OMG.
